It is with great pride that we announce the recognition of the COTEC Innovative Status, granted by that organisation to Luís Simões, for our initiatives in the area of innovation, compliance with financial solidity standards and our economic performance.

The COTEC Innovative Statute, valid annually, aims to distinguish companies of Portuguese origin for their performance in terms of innovation, as well as to promote public recognition of their activity in this field, as an example of value creation for the national economy. Likewise, it aims to foster the creation of a network of partners that reinforces the importance of the distinction and enhances new benefits among innovative companies.

The COTEC universe is made up of multinational companies, large national groups and SMEs from different sectors, which between them generate over 16% of national GDP and 8% of private employment.
