LS implements Securitech Project as part of its security strategy

Luis Simões Security Department implemented the Securitech Project, as part of its strategic plan, which implies centralization of all security systems on a single platform. Comprehensive management from the new Control Tower will convert the management of its security both technological and planning and analysis on a reference in the sector.

The LS Security department was responsible for leading, coordinating and designing this project, with support from the Information Systems department and the external support of MOBOTIX engineering department, a leader in IP video surveillance technologies. Through centralized control of all security systems, including CCTV, fire and burglary and integration of electronic access control systems, the LS carries out a more effective management, providing them with the same degree of importance.

Centralized management of Tower Control assumes a direct improvement in both agility as effective, response facilitated before any incidence of security, which improves the service offered to its customers.

In addition, this new protocol of action will establish a global security technology for all warehouses of LS and deploy IP technology in their logistics centers. Similarly, the new structure of the department, favor the obtaining reliable data of the loads through audits and stock data of its stores.
