Food Bank honours LS

Luís Simões attends ceremony organized by Food Bank of Madrid in order to thanks companies, media and volunteers for their active participation in “The Big Collection” of 2015

On April 7, Ignacio Gutierrez, Regional Director of Central Zone Iberian Transports, went to the event organized by Food Bank of Madrid to collect an award for the company's participation in “The Big Collection” of 2015, a big kilo operation which collected 22 million kilos of food in Spain.

The event began with a short speech of the Food Bank’s President, Javier Espinosa, who took advantage of the occasion to thank the companies, people, volunteers and communication media for their invaluable collaboration for "The Big Collection" that allowed exceeding the objective set.

In this way, Luis Simões renews its commitment with “The Big Collection” collaborating in the transport of food donated from the logistic platforms of distribution chains to warehouses of Food Bank of Madrid for second consecutive year.
